How does it work?

Simply search and select your desired homestays and Homestay Connection will contact them on your behalf and make all the appropriate booking arrangements.

How to use this site?

• Step 1 - Go to our Search page. Use this page to do a detailed search. Search by location, or preferences such as pets, smoking or children, etc.
• Step 2 - When you see a homestay you are interested in, click on the View Homestay Profile » link to view detailed family information. Click on "Contact this family" and you will be prompted to create your personal profile. An email confirmation will be sent to you with your username and password so that you can always come back to check the status of your requests.
• Step 3 - Bookmark the families you are interested in, and keep looking for other families until you your are satisfied with your selection
• Step 4 - Go to My Profile page and you can view all your homestay favorites
• Step 5 - Homestay Connection will contact the homestays on your behalf and send you an email with a confirmation.
• Step 6 -Upon your agreement, Homestay Connection will send your contact details to the host family and the homestay contact details are sent to you. You will be requested to pay a homestay placement fee in order to guarantee that the homestay is booked for you.

How much?

Once you have found your choice and are ready to request the homestay's contact details - you will need to pay a one time $200 placement fee (non-refundable).   Please note that your placement fee guarantees you a satisfactory homestay.  If you are not happy with your choice, you simply contact Homestay Connection within 7 days of arrival and we will find you another homestay at NO additional cost.
